Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Network Deploy Technician IV to join our growing infrastructure operations team. You will help scale and sustain next-generation networks in data centers, collaborating with engineers and project managers to automate processes and improve reliability.

The role requires hands-on hardware experience, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, and willingness to travel within the regional work area. A bachelor’s degree and Linux experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment.
• Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
