Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Technician II to help scale and maintain our enterprise network across data center locations. You will support capacity management, troubleshoot networking devices, and collaborate with internal customers and vendors.

You will join a diverse team of engineers and program managers, follow best practices, and contribute to automation efforts while traveling as needed up to 60%.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Build out first level router-aggregates and support network scaling projects.
• Manage work and priorities through ticketing systems and workflows.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and inter connectivity issues.
• Travel up to 60% within the geographic area, possibly internationally.
• Move and lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
