Job summary

Oscar is seeking a Senior Manager in Network Contracting to lead a team negotiating and analyzing contracts with national providers, ensuring network adequacy and cost efficiency. The role drives strategy, oversees settlements, and guides negotiations with hospitals and health systems.

Based in New York, the position is hybrid with three in-office days weekly. You will report to the Director, Network Contracting and help grow our provider network while meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in healthcare network contracting with health systems, hospitals or national providers.
• 4+ years managing complex provider network strategies and negotiating contracts.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• 3+ years in Health Insurance or Healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team negotiating, executing, and analyzing contracts with providers.
• Inform and drive contracting strategies aligned with network adequacy and cost goals.
• Oversee contract settlements, compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Monitor metrics on network performance, costs, and provider satisfaction.
• Foster relationships with providers and health systems to grow the network.
