Oscar in Atlanta is seeking a Senior Director of Network Contracting to lead complex provider contracting and drive network performance. You will report to the Vice President, Network Management and build strong relationships with providers to optimize access to care.

The role emphasizes strategy development for network development, cost containment, and compliant contracting across a defined market, with remote work options and potential hybrid transitions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in healthcare provider contracting, network development, or related areas.
• 7+ years negotiating complex contracts with hospitals, physician groups, and other providers.
• 5+ years of leadership or managerial experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement contracting strategies with Market Leaders to meet network goals.
• Lead and mentor the provider contracting team with clear goals and expectations.
• Collaborate with Network Monitoring & Performance to expand provider relationships and access to care.
• Source and identify OON provider targets that align with the market strategy.
• Lead complex contract negotiations with hospitals, physicians, and ancillary providers.
• Develop and execute contracting agreements to drive financial performance and cost control.
• Ensure timely resolution of provider issues and compliance with regulations.
