Job summary

Oscar is hiring a Senior Director of Network Contracting to develop and manage provider network strategies, negotiate contracts, and lead the market contracting team. The role reports to the Vice President, Network Management and is fully remote for candidates in Dallas, TX with potential future hybrid options.

The base salary range is $178,848 – $234,738 per year, with benefits, equity grants, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in healthcare provider contracting, network development, or related areas.
• 7+ years experience negotiating complex contracts with hospitals, physician groups, and other providers.
• 5+ years of leadership or managerial experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement complex contracting strategies with Market Leaders.
• Lead and mentor the provider contracting team and set clear goals.
• Collaborate with Network Monitoring & Performance to expand provider relationships and access to care.
• Source and identify OON provider targets aligning with Market strategy when needed.
• Lead complex contract negotiations with hospitals, physicians, and ancillary providers.
• Develop and execute standard and complex contracting agreements to drive performance and cost control.
• Ensure timely resolution of provider issues related to contract terms and network participation.
• Ensure all provider agreements comply with applicable regulations.
