Job summary

Oscar Health is seeking a Manager of Network Contracting to lead a team in negotiating, executing, and analyzing contracts with large, national providers while ensuring network adequacy and cost management. You will report to the Director, Network Contracting & Services and collaborate with providers, hospitals, and health systems to optimize outcomes.

This remote role is based in the field and open to candidates in NY, NJ, PA or VA, with travel for client meetings.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in healthcare network contracting or related field.
• 2+ years managing complex provider network strategies and negotiations.
• 2+ years people management experience.
• 2+ years experience in Health Insurance or Healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead contracting strategies under guidance from Network Director and Senior Manager.
• Negotiate contracts with healthcare providers focusing on favorable terms and compliance.
• Manage and mentor a small team of contracting associates and specialists.
• Review provider contracts to identify improvements and optimization opportunities.
• Use data analytics to inform negotiation decisions and provider financials.
• Ensure efficient contracting processes and monitor key performance metrics.
• Provide timely resolution of provider issues related to contracts and reimbursement.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to ensure network stability.
