Job summary

Oscar Health seeks a Senior Manager, Network Contracting to lead a team negotiating and analyzing complex contracts with national healthcare providers. The role focuses on expanding the provider network while meeting quality, accessibility, and financial goals.

The Senior Manager reports to the Director, Network Contracting and collaborates with hospitals and health systems to optimize contracts, support cost-saving initiatives, and drive network growth for a defined market.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in healthcare network contracting, including executing contracts with health systems, hospitals or national providers.
• 4+ years of experience managing complex Provider Network strategies and negotiating complex contracts.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• 3+ years experience in Health Insurance (Individual and/or Medicare Advantage) and/or Healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Inform and drive implementation of contracting strategies aligned with network adequacy, development and cost management objectives.
• Lead contract settlement negotiations to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Manage and negotiate complex contracts with healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
