Oscar is seeking a Provider Contracting Manager to lead the National Network Contracting team. The role focuses on negotiating and analyzing contracts with large national providers, improving network access, quality, and affordability.

You will report to the Senior Director, Specialty Contracting. This remote, field-based position covers multiple states with travel as needed. A strong background in healthcare contracts and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in healthcare network contracting, including executing contracts with health systems, hospitals or national providers, provider relations, or network management.
• 2+ years of experience managing complex Provider Network strategies and negotiating complex contracts.
• 2+ years of people management experience

Responsibilities

• Implement contracting strategies aligning with network objectives.
• Manage and negotiate contracts with assigned providers.
• Oversee a small team of contracting associates and specialists.
• Conduct reviews and analyses of provider contracts for improvement.
• Utilize data to inform negotiation decisions and strategy.
• Monitor contracting policies and workflows for efficiency.
• Report on network performance metrics to leadership.
• Ensure timely resolution of provider issues related to terms and reimbursement.
• Build and maintain provider relationships for network stability.
