Job summary

Heartland Business Systems LLC seeks a Technical Architect to design, implement, and support network solutions for clients, mentoring engineers and driving projects to successful completion. You will collaborate with Practice Leads and Project Managers to ensure timely, on-budget delivery and customer satisfaction across multi-technology environments.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in technical fields, bachelor’s degree or equivalent, multiple professional certifications, and expertise with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certifications or work experience
• At least two professional level certifications required
• Experience designing and architecting network-based solutions
• Experience installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba networking gear
• Knowledge of IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS and routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering teams across projects
• Collaborate with Practice Leads to prepare documents and procedures
• Deliver projects on time and within budget
• Lead engineers on multi-technology projects
• Provide updates to Project Management Team on timelines and resources
• Maintain certifications and stay current with products and best practices
• Meet annual billable hour goals as defined by HBS
