Job summary

Heartland Business Systems, LLC is seeking a Technical Architect to develop, implement, and support network services for consulting clients while mentoring engineers. You will lead multi-technology projects and partner with Practice Leads to ensure on-time delivery with quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include customer-focused solution design, collaboration across teams, and maintaining certifications. A strong leadership mindset and experience with Cisco/HP/Aruba networks are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical related field.
• At least two or more professional level certifications (CCNP/CCP-V/VCAP-DCV/MCA).
• Experience designing and architecting network-based solutions.
• Installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network switching and routing products.
• IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS experience and best practices.
• Knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, EIGRP, BGP; L2/L3 design; multicast and QoS.
• Maintain an outcome-focused mindset and strong prioritization skills.
• Team-oriented with a professional attitude and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures.
• Execute projects with Project Managers on time and budget.
• Provide leadership and guide engineers to complete tasks accurately and timely.
• Lead engineers on multi-technology projects.
• Provide daily project updates and proactive communication on timelines and resources.
• Coordinate collaboration between business units to deliver a world-class customer experience.
• Demonstrate strong communication in team and customer meetings.
• Contribute to product selection, configuration standards, and educate sales teams.
