Job summary

Heartland Technology Group is seeking a Technical Architect to develop, implement, and support network services for consulting clients while mentoring teammates. The role requires leading projects, partnering with Practice Leads, and ensuring on-time delivery across Cisco, HP, and Aruba environments while maintaining a customer-focused mindset.

You will drive network design decisions, lead multi-technology projects, provide daily status updates, and educate sales teams on solutions to win

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical related field.
• CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA or equivalent certifications.
• Experience designing and architecting network-based solutions.
• Experience installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba switches and routers.
• IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS experience and best practices.
• Strong prioritization skills and teamwork.
• Professional attitude and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures.
• Execute projects with Project Managers and Practice Leads on time and on budget.
• Provide leadership and guide engineers to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely.
• Lead engineers on projects that involve multiple technologies.
• Provide daily updates on projects and proactively communicate timelines, hours, resources, and concerns.
