Job summary

Heartland Business Systems is seeking a Technical Architect to develop, implement, and support network services for consulting clients. You will mentor engineers, lead cross-functional projects, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining high standards of client communication.

The role requires extensive networking expertise, Cisco/Aruba product knowledge, and a proactive, leadership-driven mindset to drive successful outcomes for complex client engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent certifications or equivalent work experience.
• At least two or more Professional level certifications (CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA).
• Experience designing and architecting network-based solutions.
• Installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network switching and routing products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures.
• Execute projects with Project Managers to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Engineers to ensure timely, accurate task completion.
• Serve as Lead Engineer on multi-technology projects.
• Provide daily project updates and proactive communication on timelines, resources, and risks.
• Foster cross-unit collaboration to deliver a world-class customer experience.
• Lead customer meetings and contribute to product selection and standards.
