Job summary

Heartland Business Systems seeks a Technical Architect to design, implement and support network services for consulting clients while mentoring peers. You will lead projects and coordinate with Practice Leads to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include guiding engineers, configuring Cisco/HP/Aruba gear, and ensuring best practices, documentation, and vendor certification maintenance to deliver world-class client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent certifications or equivalent work experience.
• At least two or more Professional level certifications.
• CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA.
• Experience designing and architecting network based solutions.
• Installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network switching and routing products.
• IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS Experience/Best Practices.
• Routing Protocols—OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2 / L3 Architecture and Design Multicast, QoS.
• Maintain an outcome focused mindset.
• Have strong prioritization skills.
• Always be a team player.
• Carry a professional attitude and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures.
• Execute on large projects with Project Managers and Practice Leads, on time and on budget.
• Provide leadership and guidance to Engineers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Lead engineers on multi-technology projects.
• Provide daily project updates and maintain proactive communication with stakeholders.
