Job summary

Heartland Technology Group seeks a Technical Architect to develop, implement, and support network services for consulting clients while mentoring team members. You will build customer-focused relationships to identify challenges and craft specifications to deliver optimal solutions.

In this role you will lead engineers on multi-technology projects, collaborate with Practice Leads, ensure timely project delivery, and educate sales teams on product options and best practices to drive success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent certifications or equivalent work experience.
• At least two or more Professional level certifications.
• CCNP, CCP-V, VCAP-DCV, MCA.
• Experience designing and architecting network based solutions.
• Installing and supporting Cisco or HP/Aruba network switching and routing products.
• IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS Experience/Best Practices.
• Routing Protocols—OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, L2 / L3 Architecture and Design Multicast, QoS.
• Maintain an outcome focused mindset.
• Have strong prioritization skills.
• Always be a team player.
• Carry a professional attitude and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Practice Leads to create and maintain documents and procedures.
• Execute on large projects on time and on budget.
• Provide leadership and guide Engineers to ensure tasks are completed timely and accurately.
• Lead engineers on multi-technology projects.
• Provide daily project updates and proactive timelines, resources, and concerns.
• Foster collaboration between business units to deliver a world-class customer experience.
• Demonstrate excellent communication in team and customer meetings.
• Contribute to product selection, configuration standards, and educate sales teams.
