Job summary

novulsolutions is seeking an experienced Network Operations Shift Lead to manage overnight operations for CESO SWS. You will serve as the senior escalation point, coordinating network, systems, cybersecurity, and cloud support to triage, escalate, and resolve incidents while maintaining documentation and handoffs.

The role requires leading the 3rd shift, enforcing ITIL practices, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related IT field plus 4+ years of IT experience, including server and network operations.
• Experience leading an operations team or senior escalation during incidents.
• Hands-on with Windows/Linux servers, DNS/DHCP/VPN, routing/switching, and cloud environments.
• Familiar with ITIL processes and enterprise monitoring platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational activities for the 3rd shift and provide technical direction.
• Monitor networks, servers, apps, cloud services, and infrastructure for outages and security events.
• Own incident triage, escalation, coordination, and resolution through closure.
• Coordinate across network, systems, cybersecurity, app, cloud, vendor, and partner teams.
• Ensure activities meet SLAs, SOPs, runbooks, and escalation procedures.
• Prepare shift handovers, incident reports, and performance metrics.
