Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior .NET Technical Lead to drive modernization of legacy business applications into cloud-native services on AWS. You will lead design and delivery of .NET APIs, mentor offshore teams, and ensure high-quality, secure deployments.

The role emphasizes collaboration with AWS leads, architects, QA, product owners, and offshore developers, with a remote-friendly arrangement in the United States.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years working with modern .NET and ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
• Proven experience designing, building, and deploying microservices or distributed applications.
• Strong expertise in RESTful API design, OpenAPI specifications, OAuth 2.0, and JWT-based security models.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of modern .NET services and APIs, supporting migration of legacy apps to cloud-native architecture.
• Drive engineering excellence through sprint planning, code reviews, coding standards, and best practices for quality and maintainability.
• Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure delivery of customer features.
• Mentor and guide offshore development teams, remove blockers, and provide progress updates to leadership.
• Modernize legacy data architectures by extracting business logic from SQL Server stored procedures into scalable C# services with automated tests.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and production releases with secure, reliable deployments.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while ensuring code quality, security, and governance.
