Job summary
Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior .NET Technical Lead (AWS) to drive modernization of legacy applications into cloud-native services on AWS. You will lead design, development, and delivery of .NET services, mentor offshore teams, and collaborate with AWS leads, architects, QA, product owners, and clients to ensure high-quality solutions.

Qualifications
- 12+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years with modern .NET and ASP.NET Core Web APIs.
- Proven experience designing, building, and deploying microservices or distributed applications.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET, SQL Server, and advanced T-SQL development.
- Hands-on experience migrating business logic from stored procedures into application services.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, OpenAPI specifications, OAuth 2.0, and JWT-based security models.
- Experience with EF Core, Dapper, asynchronous programming, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on AWS experience, including ECS/Fargate, RDS for SQL Server, and messaging/event-driven technologies.
- Experience implementing automated testing frameworks (unit/integration/API/contract).
- Demonstrated leadership managing and mentoring development teams, including offshore resources.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of modern .NET services and APIs, supporting migration to cloud-native architectures on AWS.
- Drive engineering excellence through sprint planning, code reviews, coding standards, and best practices.
- Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure delivery of features.
- Mentor and guide offshore development teams, remove blockers, provide progress updates to leadership.
- Modernize legacy data architectures by extracting business logic from SQL Server stored procedures into scalable C# services with automated testing.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and production releases with secure, reliable deployments and compliance alignment.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while ensuring code quality and security.
