Job summary

Sharp Decisions is seeking a senior .NET engineer in Atlanta, hybrid role, to lead modernization efforts. You will transition legacy ASP.NET applications to modern .NET, design scalable solutions, and own cloud integrations.

You will collaborate on API-first design, CI/CD pipelines, and reporting, with a strong emphasis on architecture and ownership. Remote-work options are not indicated; local candidate required.

Qualifications

• 8 years of professional .NET development experience (C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API).
• Experience migrating legacy ASP.NET to modern .NET (6/7/8/10).
• Production SQL Server experience: stored procedures, T-SQL tuning, migrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization of licensing and eligibility applications from legacy to modern .NET/Azure.
• Design scalable, secure, maintainable solutions and API-first integrations.
• Develop cloud-native solutions using Azure App Services and Functions; own SQL Server platform.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps; drive engineering excellence.
