Job summary

GlobalPoint is seeking a Senior Full-Stack .NET Modernization Developer in Atlanta, GA for a long-term contract. The role focuses on migrating legacy ASP.NET applications to modern .NET 8+, building APIs, integrating Azure services, and delivering React-based user experiences.

Candidates must be physically located in Georgia and comfortable with a hybrid model (onsite Tuesday/Thursday). You will lead modernization efforts across licensing, provider management, and program eligibility systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional .NET development experience.
• Strong C#, ASP.NET MVC and Web API.
• Hands-on experience modernizing legacy ASP.NET applications to .NET 6/7/8/10.
• Strong SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Hands-on Azure App Services and Azure Functions.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• Strong REST API development and integration experience.
• React development experience.
• 5+ years working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernization of legacy ASP.NET applications to .NET 6/7/8/10
• Design and develop scalable C#, ASP.NET MVC and Web API solutions
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Develop cloud-native solutions using Azure App Services and Azure Functions
• Design, migrate and optimize SQL Server databases, T-SQL and stored procedures
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Develop React components within an existing application
• Work with SSRS and Power BI reporting
• Participate in Azure AI, Copilot and chatbot integration initiatives
• Perform production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews and Agile ceremonies
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures and runbooks

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack .NET Modernization Developer to support a major modernization initiative for a mission-critical statewide platform serving child care licensing, provider management, and program eligibility.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on migrating legacy ASP.NET applications to modern .NET 8+, building modern APIs, integrating Azure cloud services, and developing React-based user experiences.

What You ll Do
