Job summary

TALENT Software Services seeks a Senior Full-Stack .NET Modernization Developer to lead the modernization of Georgia's licensing platform. You will move from ASP.NET to .NET 8+, design APIs, and integrate Azure cloud services with a React-based UI.

The role emphasizes ownership from concept to production, architecture decisions, cloud integration, and delivering scalable, secure solutions in a lean team. On-site, you’ll collaborate closely with state teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional .NET development (C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API).
Hands-on migration of legacy ASP.NET apps to modern .NET (6/7/8/10).
Production SQL Server experience including T-SQL and migrations.
Azure hands-on: App Services, Function Apps, deployments.
5+ years delivering software in Agile environments using ADO or GitHub.

Responsibilities

Modernize core licensing platform from legacy ASP.NET to .NET 8+ and Azure-based architecture.
Design scalable, secure APIs and services with future platform capability in mind.
Build cloud-native solutions using Azure services and manage data migrations.
Own CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps for automated testing and release management.
Lead code reviews, documentation, and architectural discussions.
