Job summary

V.L.S. Systems, Inc in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior Full-Stack .NET Modernization Developer for an 8-month hybrid engagement. The role focuses on modernizing DECAL's licensing platform from legacy ASP.NET to .NET 8, Azure cloud services, and a React-based UI.

You will own design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation, lead modernization efforts, implement API-first integrations, and drive CI/CD with Azure DevOps while delivering secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8 years of professional .NET development experience including C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API
• Proven experience migrating legacy ASP.NET apps to modern .NET (6/7/8/10)
• Production SQL Server experience with T-SQL and migrations
• Hands-on Azure experience with App Services, Functions, pipelines
• 5 years delivering software in Agile environments using ADO or GitHub

Responsibilities

• Modernize DECAL's licensing/eligibility apps from legacy ASP.NET to .NET 6/7/8/10 on Azure
• Design scalable, secure solutions with API-first integrations and cloud-native patterns
• Build React UI components as part of the modernization roadmap
• Own SQL Server data architecture and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps
