Pacific Life is seeking a Senior .NET DevOps Engineer to join the Illustrations Platform Team in Newport Beach. The role combines software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, security, and operational ownership to support life insurance illustration systems.

You will own Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, improve deployment automation and governance, coordinate deployments, and respond to incidents, while enhancing reliability, observability, and developer productivity through PowerShell and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
5+ years of software engineering with C# and .NET.
3+ years administering Azure DevOps pipelines, releases, and repos.
Strong Git and source-control governance.
Experience supporting production systems.

Responsibilities

Own and improve Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, release orchestration, deployment automation, and build engineering processes for web apps, desktop apps, APIs, and services.
Coordinate production deployments and validate post-deployment health.
Serve as senior technical responder for production incidents and drive RCA actions.
Drive improvements in platform reliability, scalability, and observability.
Write PowerShell and C# automation to reduce manual effort and boost productivity.
Produce technical docs, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.
