Job summary

Pacific Life in Newport Beach, CA seeks three Illustrations Application Developers to join our Illustrations Team. You will build and modify life insurance illustrations tools, partnering with analysts to translate complex requirements into reliable software.

Using .NET and our proprietary tools, you will deliver end-to-end solutions from design through deployment, participate in code reviews, and help improve processes while supporting timely delivery and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of work experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, VB.NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery UI, Bootstrap, and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain life insurance illustrations applications across desktop and web.
• Write maintainable code using .NET and related tools, with emphasis on quality and documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with actuaries and business units to design features.
• Ensure accurate translation of business requirements into software solutions.
