Job summary

The AES Corporation seeks a NERC Operations Senior Analyst for AES Clean Energy. You will support the NERC Operations & Planning compliance program, ensuring field activities meet NERC standards and gathering evidence for audits.

Requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field and 3–7+ years in inverter-based resource operations or renewables; strong analytics, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills; NERC knowledge. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or related field.
3–7+ years of experience in inverter-based resource operations, maintenance, or testing.
Experience implementing FAC-008, EOP-012, PRC-004/005/028/029/030, etc., in a utility context.
Strong analytical and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Implement O&M compliance processes and field activities for NERC O&P standards; coordinate with field operations.
Gather, organize, and provide compliance evidence for audits and inspections.
Monitor changes in NERC Reliability Standards and regional/ISO requirements; advise impact across units.
Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs and IT/OT Security to embed compliance.
Provide training and ensure consistent implementation of compliance procedures across teams.
Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes, tools, and evidence management.
