Job summary

AES Clean Energy, a leading independent power producer, seeks a NERC Operations Senior Analyst to support the compliance program and monitor day‑to‑day NERC reliability standards adherence.

The role collaborates with Operations, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, and IT/OT Security to ensure evidence, audits, and regulatory requests are handled efficiently and accurately, with emphasis on continual improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
• 3–7+ years of experience in inverter-based resource operations, maintenance, testing.
• Experience implementing FAC-008, EOP-012, PRC-004/005/028/029/030, and related standards.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of NERC O&P compliance processes and field activities.
• Gather and organize compliance evidence for audits and submissions.
• Provide regulatory updates and analysis for NERC standards.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, IT/OT Security.
• Ensure procedures are understood and consistently followed across teams.
• Identify and implement improvements to compliance processes and tools.
