AES Corporation is seeking a NERC Operations Senior Analyst to support the O&P compliance program and ensure alignment with North American Electric Reliability Corporation standards. The role emphasizes data collection, audit readiness, and cross-functional teamwork to maintain reliability across AES assets.

The position requires 3–7+ years in inverter-based resource operations or related fields, with a strong background in regulatory compliance and standard implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
• Mid-level professional with 3–7+ years in Inverter Based Resource operations, maintenance, testing.
• Experience with NERC standards: FAC-008, EOP-012, PRC-004/005/028/029/030.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities and time management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of O&M compliance processes and field activities for NERC standards.
• Collect, organize, and provide compliance evidence for audits.
• Collaborate on changes to reliability standards with business units.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to embed NERC compliance in asset life cycle.
• Develop and implement procedures for NERC compliance.
• Investigate reliability risks and drive continuous improvement.
