THOR Solutions, LLC is seeking an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN VI (Electrical Controls) with U.S. Navy shipboard experience to provide full-time support for U.S. Naval shipboard equipment at the SWRMC in San Diego, CA.

This onsite role supports the Pacific Fleet, troubleshooting equipment, supporting maintenance and assessments, and training Ship's Force to improve fleet readiness. The position requires existing SECRET clearance, ten years in Navy Electrical Control Systems, and specialized

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least ten years of hands-on experience in operation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and assessment of Navy electrical control systems.
• Clearance eligibility; ability to obtain SECRET clearance prior to or soon after hire.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office for reports and data transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time onsite support and surge support for Code 265 equipment.
• Lead assessment teams and Fleet Technical Assistance teams on-site or remotely; perform evaluations, testing, and guidance for repairs.
• Conduct pre-job briefings and report equipment readiness status.
• Assist with technical input for DFS and ESR responses.
• Deliver TAVRs and ship-visit debriefs.
