THOR Solutions, LLC in San Diego, CA is seeking an Engineering Technician V (Electrical & IR Survey) to provide full-time support for U.S. Navy shipboard equipment at SWRMC.

You will join a waterfront team delivering engineering and technical support to the Pacific Fleet, troubleshooting equipment and training Ship's Force to improve readiness. The role requires a Secret clearance, 3–5 years of Navy electrical experience, IR survey capability, and the ability to operate on site with occasional

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of hands-on Navy electrical experience in shipboard systems and IR surveys.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment including 4160 VAC and related controls.
• Ability to document findings and communicate clearly in reports and briefings.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time onsite support and surge support for Code 262 equipment.
• Lead assessment teams and provide technical guidance for adjustments and repairs.
• Conduct pre-job briefings and report equipment readiness status.
• Assist with DFS and ESR responses.
• Deliver TAVRs and ship-visit debriefs.
