Job summary

THOR Solutions, LLC seeks an Engineering Technician V (Electrical Controls) for full-time duty at SWRMC in San Diego, CA. You will support Navy shipboard equipment, troubleshoot systems, and provide training to improve fleet readiness.

The role requires a SECRET clearance and travel up to 10%. Salary includes base pay of $39.78/hour plus $5.09/hour health and welfare, with benefits detailed in the posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with U.S. Navy electrical control systems.
• Experience operating, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and assessing shipboard electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time onsite support and surge support for Code 265 equipment.
• Lead assessment teams and provide technical guidance for adjustments and repairs.
• Conduct pre-job briefings and report equipment readiness status.
• Assist with DFS and ESR inputs and prepare reports.
• Deliver TAVRs and ship-visit debriefs.
