Job summary

Akebia Therapeutics seeks a National Account Manager to develop and execute strategic account plans for dialysis organizations and large nephrology practices. You will engage health-system decision-makers and collaborate with Regional leadership to align on clinical and economic value propositions.

The role focuses on expanding Vafseo adoption and coordinating with Medical Affairs for savings, access and outcomes across assigned accounts, with hybrid work options and significant travel within

Qualifications

• BA/BS required for role; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Renal or similar therapeutic space.
• Proven track record of effective account management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive national and regional account strategies.
• Drive Vafseo access across dialysis organizations and support account adoption.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with Regional VPs or executives within accounts.
• Collaborate with LDO/MDO RVPs, Area Directors and RQMs and LGPs on strategic initiatives.
• Communicate clinical, business and health economics data persuasively to customers.
• Travel up to 50% within the U.S. as needed.
