Job summary

Akebia Therapeutics in the United States seeks a National Account Manager to develop and execute national and regional plans that optimize access, sales and outcomes for Akebia’s product by building partnerships with dialysis organizations and nephrology groups. You will work with Regional VPs, Medical Affairs, and LGPs to drive Vafseo adoption.

The NAM will lead strategic collaborations, align clinical and economic value propositions, and travel up to 50% within the U.S.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Renal or similar therapeutic space.
• Proven track record of effective account management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute national and regional account strategies.
• Drive Vafseo access across dialysis organizations.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with executive accounts.
• Collaborate with LDO/MDO RVPs and LGPs.
• Support Regional Medical Director and physician programs.
• Communicate clinical and health economic data to customers.
• Travel up to 50% in the U.S.
• Ensure dialysis pull-through of strategic initiatives.
