Republic Services, based in the Houston area, seeks a Manager of Municipal Sales to lead the development and execution of the municipal sales strategy across extensions, retention, and new business. You will drive growth and revenue, manage key accounts, and support government affairs activities within the division.

You will build comprehensive account plans, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with operations to ensure quality service and client satisfaction.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of government sales or government relations experience in waste industry desired.
• Experience with RFPs, bids and contract negotiations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working with municipalities or federal/state agencies.

Responsabilidades

• Prospect and manage municipal accounts within the assigned division.
• Negotiate pricing and contracts, including extensions.
• Prepare responses to RFPs and bids and deliver presentations.
• Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales targets.
• Coordinate with operations and corporate teams for service delivery.
• Maintain CRM records and report sales funnel weekly.
• Engage with industry groups and government affairs as needed.
