Job summary
Consor is seeking a Municipal Engineering Manager in Texas to lead engineering services for Municipal Utility Districts and related districts. You will oversee planning, design, construction, operation, and long‑term management of water, wastewater, drainage, and infrastructure, while guiding project teams and client relations.
This hybrid role requires a PE license, 15+ years in municipal districts, and strong knowledge of Texas regulations and financing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
- PE license required.
- 15+ years in municipal utility districts, land development, or municipal infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of water, wastewater, drainage systems and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary engineering representative for Municipal Utility Districts and local government clients.
- Lead district meetings, provide engineering guidance and recommendations.
- Oversee planning, design, permitting, bidding, construction administration of district projects.
- Coordinate with operators, attorneys, bond counsel, and regulators to support objectives and compliance.
- Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and capital improvement plans.
- Support financing efforts with bond reports and cost estimates.
- Mentor engineering staff and expand services with existing clients.
