Job summary

ResProp Management in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all aspects of service operations for our multifamily communities. You will supervise repairs, coordinate with tenants and staff, and ensure high-quality upkeep of appliances, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.

The role requires strong management experience, EPA Universal certification, and hands-on trade skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of general maintenance experience, 3+ years in apartment maintenance.
• Management experience is required.
• EPA Universal certification is required.
• CPO certification is highly preferred.
• Strong trade skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, roofing, cabinetry.
• Must own a tool kit.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the property, reliable transportation, and be able to rotate on-call.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all maintenance service operations to meet goals.
• Repair and replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems as needed.
• Maintain positive customer service for residents.
• Train maintenance staff and develop their potential.
• Assist Property Manager with staff recruitment and reviews.
• Oversee maintenance shop organization and property appearance.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
• Manage work orders and response times within deadlines.
• Control inventory and ordering of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure a safe, OSHA-compliant work environment.
• Oversee unit turns and renovations within goal time frames.
• Walk apartments after move-out to assess required work.
