Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all service operations for our apartment communities in Sarasota, FL. You will manage repairs, schedule vendor work, and lead a team to deliver quality resident service.

The role requires 8+ years of general maintenance and 3+ years in the apartment sector, with EPA Universal certification and a valid toolkit. Strong leadership and reliability are essential for this rotating on‑call position.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of general maintenance/repair experience.
• 3+ years of apartment industry experience required.
• Management experience required.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• CPO certification highly preferred.
• Trade skills include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances.
• Must have own tool kit.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the property.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all maintenance/service operations.
• Complete work orders for repairs and replacements.
• Provide quality customer service to residents.
• Train maintenance teammates and support their growth.
• Assist Property Manager with performance reviews and recruiting.
• Manage maintenance shop organization and project workflows.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
