Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all service operations at our Charleston properties. You will repair and replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and lead a maintenance team to exceed performance metrics.

You will also train staff, manage vendor work, ensure safety standards, and coordinate unit turns with leasing. Candidates should have 8+ years in maintenance with apartment experience and a valid EPA universal certification.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of general maintenance and 3 years in apartment industry.
• Management experience required.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• CPO certification highly preferred.
• Trade skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances, etc.
• Trade licensing preferred but not required.
• Tech savvy; proficient with computers and basic software
• Must have own tool kit
• Must live within 30 minutes of the property
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate rotating on-call schedule
• Must perform physical tasks up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of service operations to meet goals.
• Repair and replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems.
• Provide quality customer service to residents.
• Train maintenance teammates and develop their potential.
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing maintenance staff.
• Oversee maintenance shop organization and property appearance.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
• Manage inventory and delivery of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure safe, OSHA-compliant work environment.
• Oversee unit turns and renovations within target timeframes.
• Walk apartments with leasing to assess move-out repairs.
