Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee service operations at our Fort Worth property. You will manage repairs, coordinate work orders, and lead a team to ensure quality resident service and timely turnovers.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years of maintenance experience, including apartment-industry work, with proven management ability and EPA universal certification. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of general maintenance/general repair experience, 3 years in apartment industry preferred.
• Management experience required.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• CPO certification highly preferred.
• Trade skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances, etc.
• Trade licensing preferred but not required.
• Tech savvy; comfortable with computers and basic software.
• Must have own tool kit.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the property.
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to handle rotating on-call schedule.
• Able to perform physical tasks up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all service operations to meet goals.
• Repair and replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems.
• Maintain positive customer service for residents and prospects.
• Train maintenance team members.
• Support Property Manager with performance reviews and recruiting.
• Manage maintenance shop organization and property appearance.
• Evaluate products used for maintenance and upkeep.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
• Manage inventory and supplies for maintenance.
• Ensure OSHA standards are met and a safe work environment.
• Oversee unit turns and renovations within target timeframes.
• Inspect move-out apartments to assess repairs.
