Job summary

AOG Living is seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee the physical property at City View Lofts in Houston, TX. The role includes directing maintenance staff, handling apartment make-readies, and managing preventative maintenance and rehab projects for the community.

The ideal candidate will supervise technicians, respond to resident requests, plan safety training, and ensure adherence to budgets and regulations. Strong carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; five years’ multi-family maintenance experience or equivalent.
• EPA Section 608 HVAC certification preferred; boiler/plumbing/mold training is expected.
• OSHA awareness and ability to read diagrams; perform make-ready duties and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and lead by example for apartment community.
• Coordinate and respond to resident work orders and move-in readiness.
• Schedule safety training and manage maintenance budget.
• Perform preventive maintenance and supervise groundskeeping/pool duties when needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, local, and state regulations.
