Job summary

AOG Living is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician for the Brittmore area of Houston, TX. The role involves overseeing repairs, preventative maintenance, and make-ready work on apartment homes in coordination with the Community Manager.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, maintaining appliances, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, and performing pool/grounds duties as needed. Candidates should be hands-on, safety-conscious, and able to follow company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of multi-family maintenance experience.
• HVAC/Freon Recovery certification or ability to become certified within the first 6 months.
• CAMT certification preferred.
• Must hold permits/certifications required by city or state (e.g., pool operations).

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders.
• Repair/replace appliances, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical components as needed.
• Prepare vacant apartment units for move-in and make-ready tasks.
• Assist with grounds keeping and pool maintenance as required.
• Follow safety protocols, maintain confidentiality, and ensure proper timekeeping.
