Job summary

Lynd Management Group seeks a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at a multifamily property in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will oversee service requests, inspections, and preventive maintenance while ensuring timely, quality repairs and strong resident service.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, relevant certifications (EPA Type III/Universal and Certified Pool Operator), and the ability to manage on-call rotations, safety compliance, and vendor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years of multifamily, facility, or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• EPA Type III or Universal certification required.
• Certified Pool Operator certification required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and pool maintenance.
• OSHA safety knowledge a must.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Basic computer/mobile tech skills.
• On-call rotation participation and after-hours availability.
• Trade school/military training is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, train, and develop the property's maintenance team.
• Assign and prioritize service requests, make-readies, inspections, and preventive maintenance projects.
• Ensure service requests and apartments are completed correctly and on time.
• Inspect apartments, buildings, grounds, amenities, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, water heaters, pool equipment, and other property systems.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and records.
• Manage on-call schedule and after-hours responses.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor completed work.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, equipment, and chemicals.
• Keep areas clean, organized, and secure.
• Ensure safety policies and OSHA requirements are followed.
• Communicate updates to the Property Manager.
