Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Project Manager to plan and manage construction activities from conception to completion, ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery. You will coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams, monitor safety and quality, and manage budgets and contracts.

Responsibilities include leading site inspections, developing coordination plans, and preparing subcontracts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field and/or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in multi-family, wood framing, structural concrete, construction projects
• 3rd party general contractor experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure that construction activities move according to predetermined schedule, with weekly status meetings involving all stakeholders.
• Coordinate the efforts of clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors and laborers.
• Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards.
• Daily inspection of construction site to monitor compliance with codes and regulations.
• Study job specifications to determine construction methods.
• Identify constructability and coordination issues before beginning construction.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff, subcontractors, and clients.
• Select and oversee workers for specific scopes (e.g., painting, plumbing).
• Prepare subcontracts and negotiate revisions to agreements.
• Manage budget, track expenses and minimize risk.
• Review and approve progress payments from subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure project documentation and reports are complete.
• Handle complaints and disputes; negotiate with others.
• Serve as a key client liaison and review team deliverables before client handoff.
