Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Project Manager to plan and oversee construction activities from conception to completion on a Virginia site. You will manage budgets, schedules, safety programs, and contract administration while coordinating with clients, architects, and subcontractors.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a track record in multi-family or concrete construction projects. Travel to job sites is required, and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field and/or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in multi-family, wood framing, structural concrete, construction projects
• 3rd party general contractor experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction activities move according to schedule; monitor progress and hold weekly status meetings
• Coordinate efforts of clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors and laborers
• Maintain adherence to budget, quality and safety standards
• Daily site inspection to ensure compliance with codes and regulations
• Study job specs to determine construction methods
• Identify potential constructability and coordination issues before starting
• Explain plans and contract terms to staff, subcontractors, and clients
• Select and oversee workers for specific scopes (painting, plumbing)
• Prepare subcontracts and handle revisions
• Manage budget, track expenses, minimize risk
• Review and approve progress payments; ensure documentation
• Handle complaints and negotiate settlements
• Serve as key client liaison and review team deliverables
