Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction activities from conception to completion, ensuring schedules, budgets and safety standards are met. You will coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in multi-family or related construction, with strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects across sites and offices.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in construction science, engineering, architecture, or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in multi-family, wood framing, structural concrete, construction projects.
• 3rd party general contractor experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction activities move according to schedule; monitor progress and hold weekly status meetings with team, subcontractors, clients and consultants.
• Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved: clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, laborers.
• Maintain strict adherence to budget, quality and safety standards.
• Daily inspection of construction site to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Study job specs to determine appropriate construction methods.
• Identify potentially problematic design/constructability issues before starting construction.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff, subcontractors and clients.
• Select, contract and oversee subcontracted work; negotiate revisions and additions to contracts.
• Manage budget, track expenses and minimize risk.
• Review and approve progress payments from subcontractors and vendors; ensure project documentation is complete.
• Handle complaints, settle disputes, and negotiate with others; serve as key client liaison.
• Review deliverables with the team before passing to client.
