RPM Living in Mesquite, TX is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations at a multifamily apartment community. You will lead staff, manage onboarding, training, schedules, and performance assessments while maintaining service standards and budgets.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and hands-on supervision of leasing, maintenance coordination, and resident relations to meet occupancy and revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of related multi-family property management experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills with effective communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead property staff, conduct interviews, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
• Drive team to meet performance indicators and manage disciplinary actions with HR as needed.
• Oversee leasing paperwork, workplace safety, and daily operations.
• Motivate staff via recognition, training, and team-building activities.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to budgets.
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial reports with variance analysis within +/-10%.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by addressing complaints and requests promptly.
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure timely response to service requests.
• Provide excellent customer service while upholding high resident-service standards.
• Analyze market trends and work with marketing on leasing strategies to hit occupancy goals.
