GAF in Newton, KS is seeking a Multicraft Technician III to perform advanced maintenance across mechanical, electrical and facility systems in our new plant. You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor to complete preventative and corrective tasks, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

The role combines hands-on fabrication, welding, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, with opportunities to improve equipment uptime and participate in startup and commissioning activities.

Formación

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years in industrial maintenance environment or equivalent.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and control schematics.
• Familiar with MAXIMO/CMMS Asset Management Software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop work orders and documentation in MAXIMO; prepare plans and schedules.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Lead root-cause failure analyses and RCA teams.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and observe 5S standards.
• Support startup and commissioning activities for new plant equipment.
