Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Lansing, MI seeks a General Manager to drive sales, guest satisfaction, and team development under the Area Director. The GM will lead high-performing teams, ensure brand standards, and manage financial performance in a dynamic restaurant environment.

Responsibilities include operational leadership, staffing, training, safety compliance, and community engagement to grow the business and sustain exemplary guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of multi-unit restaurant management with direct P&L accountability; national chain preferred.
• Completion of Apple II Management training.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operational and financial performance and human capital within location.
• Ensures prompt, friendly service according to Company guidelines.
• Maintains guest satisfaction and handles guest complaints per policy.
• Manages staffing levels and schedules to meet sales demands.
• Maintains compliance with local, state and federal laws and company standards.
• Drives community involvement to increase sales and brand awareness.
• Leads management meetings and provides regular evaluations of TEAM Members.
