Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a General Manager in Michigan to oversee restaurant operations, financial performance, and human capital. The GM will lead Managers and hourly TEAM Members, ensure guest satisfaction, and drive community engagement as part of the TSFR Roadmap.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of multi-unit management experience, completion of Apple II Management training, and strong leadership with a proven track record in achieving business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of multi-unit restaurant management with P&L accountability, national chain preferred.
• Apple II Management training completed.
• Exemplary restaurant operations leadership and superior business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Ensures prompt, friendly service according to Company guidelines.
• Builds culture aligned with Vision/Mission to guide Values.
• Oversees Managers and Hourly TEAM Members within their location.
• Maintains inventory levels and ensures quality product prep and presentation.
• Promotes cleanliness, sanitation and safe operations; manages safety programs.
• Executes training, evaluations and development plans for managers; conducts regular performance reviews.
• Manages staffing levels and schedules to meet sales demand; conducts regular meetings.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and provincial/local laws; manages repairs and maintenance.
