Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Michigan’s Walled Lake area is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations, drive profitability, and develop a high-performing team under the supervision of the Area Director.

The successful candidate will have prior AGM or Unit GM experience in a similar organization, complete Apple II Management training, and a proven track record of achieving business goals while upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in business, finance, hospitality or hotel/restaurant management.
• Minimum 7+ years of multi-unit restaurant management with direct P&L accountability; national chain preferred.
• Completion of Apple II Management training.
• Prior Assistant General Manager (AGM) or unit GM experience in a similar organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operational and financial performance and human capital at the location.
• Directs Managers and Hourly TEAM Members; ensures staffing and development.
• Maintains compliance with company policies, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Drives guest satisfaction, profitability and adherence to budget goals.
