Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Coldwater, MI is seeking a General Manager who leads the location's operational and financial performance and human capital. Reporting to the Area Director, you will drive guest satisfaction and ensure adherence to company standards and policies.

You will manage multi-unit teams, recruit and develop managers, control costs, maintain safety and sanitation, and execute the Vision/Mission values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline.
• 7+ years of multi-unit restaurant management with direct P&L accountability.
• Completion of Apple II Management training.
• Strong leadership and business acumen at market level.
• Ability to champion and integrate change regularly.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Managers and hourly TEAM Members within their location.
• Ensures prompt, friendly service according to Company guidelines.
• Maintains and enforces safety, sanitation, and policies.
• Conducts weekly management meetings and quarterly employee meetings.
• Manages staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensures restaurant meets operating budgets.
