Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking Maintenance Technicians at multiple career levels to support the maintenance and readiness of our Ohana Military Communities in Honolulu, HI.

The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance, with emphasis on safety and quality service to residents. Qualified candidates will have 1–7+ years in maintenance, EPA 608 certification where required, and the ability to work outdoors and in tight spaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service requests for furnaces, AC, appliances, water heaters, plumbing, carpentry, painting and other maintenance items.
• Performs skilled work in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or locksmith trades.
• Documents all work in accordance with company policy.
• Maintains tools and equipment in ready repair.
• Follows PPE and safety guidelines.
• Mentors Level 3 technicians and assists others with troubleshooting as needed.
• Assists in make-ready of vacated units including painting, flooring, drywall and fixture work.
• Performs emergency maintenance such as sewer back-ups and water line issues.
